Position Summary:

The Manager Business Analysis is responsible for providing management with insights that support decision making on strategic, tactical and operational level. He will manage a team of 2-3 business analysts and reports into the Director Business Analysis. He will lead the monthly reporting process, including month end activities, as well as the forecast process and the annual budget process. He will be looking for process improvements and is able to implement these in the organization.

Main tasks relate to the Financial and Business Analysis, Monthly Financial Close, Annual Budget cycle, Rolling Forecast process, Management Reporting, Inventory Control, Process and Risk Control.

Supervisory Responsibilities: The Manager Business Analysis is managing a team of 2-3 (Jr) Business Analysts.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Act as business partner and provide timely, accurate management information;
  • Improves forecast accuracy together with the business;
  • Leads the monthly reporting process to Global & Corporate Finance; provide financial close support in the areas of Revenue, Cost of Sales, SG&A and Inventory and ensuring timely reporting in consolidation system;
  • Coordinate the annual budget process and support the business with the planning process;
  • Manage and develop a team of 2/3 business analysts;
  • Cooperate with Shared Service transactional processing and General Ledger Accounting teams to safeguard accurate and consistent accounting;
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and look for process improvements.

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Finance & Accounting or equivalent;
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in an international controlling function;
  • 1-2 years experience in managing a small team;
  • Strong business acumen and ability to partner with the business;
  • People manager able to develop individuals;
  • Experienced in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); knowledge of/experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP);
  • Fluency in English.

  • Willingness to travel 10% of the time
