Position Summary:

The E-commerce Merchandise Specialist is responsible for maintaining our online product assortment and will support our online promotions and marketing campaigns. With his or her strong attention to detail and knowledge of online shopping trends he/she will create an excellent shopping experience, supporting key brand stories and delivering against sales goals. He/she will be joining an enthusiastic group and reports to the Merchandising Lead.

This role is a temporary role, maternity cover.

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:  

This role will have no supervisory responsibilities

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Plan, test and refine product listings, site search filtering and categorization tactics that facilitate efficient search
  • Catalog management, responsible for the listing and delisting of products for all branded sites
  • Actively monitor New Product Introduction process + request and implement content assets for NPI merchandising.
  • Oversee coordination and execution of the EMEA site content updates to support marketing calendar initiatives and product deliveries, ensure site updates are made in a timely manner to support all initiatives.
  • Content creation for marketing and online sales campaigns
  • Plan, test and refine product rankings, site search filtering and categorization tactics that facilitate efficient search
  • Full ownership for content localization
  • Full ownership for on-site promotions
  • Support all marketing initiatives by creating new curated, engaging and relevant landing page experiences
  • Partner with developers to develop special concepts and page layouts to support category directives and strategies
  • Support EMEA and country marketing managers with their online questions and change requests
  • Document and raise any issues (bugs or improvement requests) in the relevant support systems
  • Leverage Salesforce Commerce Cloud (DemandWare) platform capabilities over all aspects of site merchandising

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with analytical and database tools
  • 2 to 3 years relevant work experience in eCommerce
  • Hands on experience with Web Content Management systems, preferably Salesforce Commerce Cloud (DemandWare) and analytical tools
  • Familiarity with support systems and HTML
  • Strong organizational, multi tasking and time management skills
  • Excellent problem solving skills – able to identify, analyze and propose solutions to technical and business issues.
  • The ability to think both analytically and creatively
  • Able to work & contribute in a small dynamic team
  • Work with & co-ordinate 3rd party partners
  • Experience in working cross regional and globally with a diverse, multi-cultural team
  • Positive, energetic, can-do attitude
  • Fluent in English (both written and verbal)

  • Willingness to travel 10% of the time
  • Willingness to work in an office.
