Position Summary

This position is within the EMEA Marketing team of HARMAN’s Lifestyle Division and is based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. We are looking for a strong, opinioned, flexible team player to support our brand growth (JBL, Harman Kardon and AKG) by ensuring that all branded content across all communication touchpoints is of the highest quality standard. You are a meticulous, organized and flexible Graphic Designer who is hands-on and highly motivated.
 

In this role you support our brand communication throughout the year in close collaboration with our external agencies, ranging from online- and offline media assets, Lifestyle Images, POP, digital/social assets, landing-pages, festival and ambassador assets and internal documents like PowerPoints, Product Pitches and event artwork.
You will keep a close watch on all deliverables and deadlines to create a cohesive brand story in our communication to our customers and audience.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multi-brand projects in alignment with our external agencies
  • Ability to perform in a deadline-driven, results-focused cross-channel environment, while having strong attention to detail.
  • Updates and edits to POS installations
  • Retouching lifestyle imagery and –video’s
  • Creation, production and adjustments of social media assets and online banners
  • Creation, production and adjustments of online- and offline festival- and brand ambassador assets
  • Creation, production and adjustments of event artwork
  • Editing of internal documents like powerpoint presentations, new product introduction (NPI) presentations and brochures

 

Basic Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in multimedia design or a similar field.
  • Two to three years of experience in multimedia design.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat).
  • Proficient in editing video and audio recordings.
  • Experience using Adobe After Effects or Final Cut Pro is a plus.
  • Experience with MS Office, web design, HTML, email and content management systems is a plus.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in content management
  • Speaking more than one language and having experience dealing with translations

 

Eligibility Requirements:.
 

  • Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time
  • Willingness to work in an office in Amsterdam
