Business Analyst

The Business Analyst supports all departments in the Lifestyle Audio organization by providing financial support and driving financial accountability. He/she understands the business and business processes to control and improve the way business in EMEA is conducted, in alignment with overall company procedures and goals. The Senior Business Analyst is responsible to manage the financial planning and forecasting cycles, support the financial close process and provide regular management reporting and ad-hoc analysis.

 

The Business Analyst works in the Business Analysis department, reporting into the Business Analysis Manager. The Business Analyst works closely with especially Sales, Marketing, Product Management and Supply Chain at all levels in the EMEA organization, but also with the financial organization at Lifestyle Global and Corporate level. He/she also had substantial exposure to EMEA Management Team.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning, Controlling and Forecasting
    • Controlling Income Statements, overall control versus targets (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
    • Participate and Coordinate in Annual Planning cycle
    • Perform regular Financial Forecast updates
    • Put all financials in the commercial context of the organization
  • Financial Close and Audit support
    • Control financial close processes
    • Support monthly financial close and ensure timely delivery of accounting journals
    • Participate in/Coordinate Monthly management report
    • Explain/control close processes in Internal and External Audit cycles
  • Management Reporting and Analysis
    • Manage and execute incoming requests for financial/business analysis
    • Provide the Management Team/Organization with regular performance reporting and ad-hoc analysis
    • Manage or participate in departmental improvement projects and financial close processes
    • Participate in business improvement projects
    • Safeguard data accuracy
    • Control financial systems
  • Process Control / Business Improvement
    • Control and support commercial procedures within EMEA width context
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
    • Support and coordinate Internal Audit processes
    • Support and cooperate with Internal and External Audit
    • Initiate and support process improvement projects

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance & Accounting or equivalent
  • At least 2-5 years of relevant experience in an international (controlling) function
  • Ability to work effectively in commercial environment and coordinating role with functional departments
  • Experienced in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
  • Knowledge of/experience in ERP systems (preferably SAP)
  • Fluency in English
