1. What happens after I apply?

Recruiters review candidate pools to identify individuals whose experiences and qualifications most closely align with a job's specifications.

Due to an overwhelming response to many of our positions, it may be up to four weeks before we can provide you with an update on your status. We appreciate your patience as we carefully review the experiences and qualifications of each applicant.

If you are selected to advance in our process, you will be contacted by a member of our recruiting team, who will outline the required next steps.

If you are not selected to advance in our process for the specific job in which you expressed interest, you may still be contacted about other opportunities. Please note, you will only be contacted if there is an interest in pursuing your candidacy.

2. What happens after I'm contacted by a Harman recruiter about advancing in the process?

You can expect a telephone interview with one of our recruiters to be the most likely first step in the interview process.

If you're selected to advance further in the process, you'll be asked to interview with the hiring manager and/or a member or members of the hiring manager’s team. These interviews may take place on one day or on several different days. They may be conducted by telephone or in person.

3. What happens after I complete the interview process?

A recruiter will contact you after your final interview. We appreciate your patience during the selection process as we manage the complexities of matching hiring managers’ schedules with those of candidates.

If you receive a job offer, you'll be provided with comprehensive information to help you make a well-informed decision. We'll also provide you with a reasonable amount of time to consider the offer.

If you're not selected for a position, we recommend that you keep your career profile updated so that we can alert you to other appropriate opportunities as they arise.
