Scope of a APQP Engineer Responsibilities:
• APQP Engineer for preventive Quality HBAS is responsible for Qualitative Outputs and works within Development Team1-Structure until Manufacturing Launch on key projects
• Is an independent reporting function to assist Program Team in Launch of OEM-product
• The APQP-Engineer has reviewing and judging responsibility for each preventive quality subject incl. review/audit processes within dedicated product/product group
o The responsibility starts with setup of quality aspects for APQP-handbook incl. defining product quality parameters according to OEM-customer requirements
o Active participation, review and audit of maturity gate process of PLM-processes during product development in alignment with Program Mgmt. overall steering
o Deriving, implementing and Evaluation of preventive quality measures
o Active Participation in FMEA/RMEA processes which are performed by various functional departments
o Has the responsibility to take over the role of a task lead (in alignment with Program Management) in case of severe quality issues during development
o Provides internal summary quality reports (based on results from various functional departments) (QIP Top 5 Report)
o May be tasked to participate in external reporting towards OEM-customer incl. active collaboration with OEM-customer w/r to quality assurance aspects
• The APQP Engineer is acting within and using existing internal organizational structures and is is responsible for inputs into
o Design reviews, milestone reviews, sub-project auditing, target setting
o Supports process implementation together with Business Process Owners
• Acts as a role model in terms of quality assurance and process compliance
• Helps meet deliverables as defined in PLM process to ensure the Voice of Customer will be met and exceeded in the Product Launch Phase (SOP+90)

• Verifies development process execution and elevates non-compliances with defined Elevation Paths.
• Verifies and audits maturity gate process and design reviews
• Providing accurate and timely forecasts in terms of quality parameters achie
