Essential Responsibilities:
• Demonstrate financial leadership and drive continuous improvements
• Support Operations leadership by providing timely and accurate information together with recommendations to drive continuous improvements
• Supervise Mexican accounting and USA Accounting, Cost Accounting, Payroll and Tax departments
• Assure Company’s compliance and fiscal obligations, i.e., SOX
• Prepare and analyze financial statements in Mexico, USA and Consolidated
• Provide financial information and recommendations to Operations leadership
• Lead internal controls improvements, generation and follow up on corrective actions
• Lead, prepare and follow up on Company business plans
• Ensure timely preparation and submission of payroll and other related obligations
• Support external auditors for annual audit as well as other audits with any fiscal authority of the USA and Mexico
• Oversee customs activities
Basic Qualifications:
1. Specific Knowledge, Expertise, Coursework
• Knowledge of US GAAP / Mexican GAAP fiscal laws.
• Knowledge of SAP, CMI, MRP systems preferred
• Business partnership mentality with a solid understanding of Manufacturing activities
2. REQUIRED Degree and/or Training, including specifically defined educational equivalent
• Education: Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance, Business Administration
• Languages: English
• Experience required: 7 + years of relevant financial leadership experience in an automotive manufacturing environment
Desired Characteristics:
1. Knowledge of SAP, CMI, MRP systems preferred
2. Bilingual highly preferred (English/Spanish)
