Essential Responsibilities:
 Plan, develop and implement North America Compensation programs
 Manage various projects; consulting with company management and HR personnel and recommending appropriate actions
 Ensuring that the company’s needs are met in accordance with country-specific governmental requirements and working on problems of a diverse scope
 Participate in salary surveys
 Perform job evaluations to ensure proper grading
 Prepare job descriptions
 Prepare compensation analysis reports
 Analyze trends and develop recommendations
 Prepare presentation materials to facilitate the communication of results
 Provide appropriate communication and training on compensation-related topics
 Assist in the development and administration of variable pay plans
 Perform other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
 Bachelor’s degrees in Business, Human Resources or a related field of study with 2 years of increasingly complex professional compensation experience including:
o Designing pay structures
o Designing and administering variable pay programs
o Developing and implementing compensation programs
o Consulting with all levels of managers and HR personnel
o Survey selection and participation
o Performing job evaluations and job analysis
o Preparing compensation analysis reports
o Analyzing trends and developing recommendations
o Using various data gathering techniques using an HRIS or enterprise resources planning (ERP) software (i.e. Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft)
o Managing projects or working as part of a project team to implement compensation solutions
o Advanced use of Microsoft Excel to manipulate data (e.g., pivot tables, v-look-ups, etc.)
 Or and Associate’s degree in the same fields with an additional 2 years of the stated essential qualifications
 Or a high school diploma (GED) with an additional 4 years of the stated essential qualifications
 Excellent analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills
 Strong diplomacy, customer service and interpersonal skills
 Excellent verbal and written communication skills
