Job Title:  Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Engineer  Date:   6/23/09

Essential Responsibilities:

• Assist in the implementation and installation of SAP ME (Visiprise) MES
• Support the MES production globally
• Responsible for generating discovery reports and statements of work to be performed by the SAP team for internal interfaces and improvement opportunities.
• Responsible to develop the best integration solution utilizing input from all shareholders.
• Direct and train technical personnel on the operation, flow and implementation of SAP ME.
 Responsible to perform other tasks as business needs require.

Basic Qualifications:

• Education: 4 year degree, preferred in computer science or related engineering field
• 4 years of experience using and/or installing MES’s
• Work requires a considerable variety of fairly steady active physical exertion with some lifting and/or continuous standing or walking.  Work requires regular speed, and high accuracy and adeptness to operate a limited range of equipment.  The employee must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Desired Characteristics:

Candidate should be well versed in networking and computer applications.  Must have excellent communication skills for identification of both problems and solutions to report through the organization.

Eligibility Requirements:
• Employees must have a minimum tenure of 6 months in their current role (preferably 12 months) prior to applying for positions (exceptions will only be made with prior HR approval).
