Essential Responsibilities:
Partner with the IT leadership team in the execution of Terms and Conditions as well as various other licensing agreements. Interface with vendors Develop and implement continuous improvement programs. Conduct best practice benchmarking within assigned categories/industries. Develop IT asset management policies, procedures and guidelines for the enterprise Own, develop, manage and execute programs for all assigned catagories. Prepare strategic plans and manage the planning of RFIs and RFPs as contracts expire Create secondary supply strategies for critical products and services and lead identification and development of long term (local and global) alternate sources. Work collaboratively with internal customers and suppliers to gather and disseminate information on requirements, timing and the scope of the distribution to fully manage supply chains in assigned categories. Analyze historical and current licensing asset information for trends and recommend asset management strategies to management Negotiate contract terms for master agreements, schedules and amendments in conjunction with legal and business partners. Evaluate suppliers based on qualitative data gathered regarding performance, quality, competitive pricing and service level metrics. Hold regular supplier meetings to review scorecard data. Maintain liaison with suppliers, collect data required for business decisions and/or future programs and build database files of information.
Basic Qualifications:
- Prior experience with procurement and supplier management and category expertise.
- Experience building and managing procurement activities within a global organization.
- Experience developing moderately complex cost and financial models, with financial accounting, inventory management and supplier management expertise.
- Understanding of best practices in supply chain management and all phases of the sourcing function, as well as current trends in procurement and outsourcing.
- Proven experience in creating and implementing strategic supplier partnership programs on a global basis. Ability to leverage supplier expertise to develop recommendations for production and value engineering to reduce costs and improve efficiencies.
- Demonstrated experience building and leading cross-functional teams and partnerships.
- Experience with project, cost and timeline management.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- PC skills - knowledge of Word, Excel, Projects, PowerPoint and Outlook; able to learn new systems quickly.
- 10 years experience within a Sourcing or Procurement role.
